Symbiotic Symphony is an interactive sonic ecosystem that explores human entanglement with the non-human world.
An array of midi biodata recording devices and capacitive touch sensors allow visitors to collaborate with plants and fungi, shaping music and organism-generated visuals. Exhibited at the School of Visual Arts Interdisciplinary Practices in Bio Arts Residency Open Studios, "Porous Kinships", as part of my multimedia project We are the Sea Between Islands. Symbiotic Symphony is an ongoing project that can be adapted for a variety of spaces and settings.
